Keela is a Behavioral Health Therapist, Oncology at Inova Schar Cancer. Prior to joining Life with Cancer in 2022, Keela held several social work positions within Inova over the past eight years, working with patients in Intermediate Care, Inova Cares Clinic for Community Bridging, and Inpatient Acute Rehabilitation. Keela attended Bluefield College for undergraduate studies and earned her master’s in Social Work in 2010 from The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. Keela believes that being grateful for the good in one’s life can improve negative thoughts and feelings and assist individuals in being positive despite the situation or circumstance.
