Durene LeFlouria is a licensed clinical therapist with more than 15 years of experience working in gerontology, palliative care, hospice care, and behavioral health. She earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Howard University and her Master of Social Work Degree and Specialist in Aging Certificate from the University of Michigan. She is currently a Behavioral Health Therapist, Oncology at the Inova Schar Cancer where she provides emotional support, individual and group therapy, and care coordination to oncology patients and their families. Durene’s scholastic and clinical experiences have driven her professional commitment to helping others enhance their quality of life. In her spare time she enjoys domestic and international traveling, the performing arts, and spending time with family.
