Emily Hollifield joined the Inova Peterson Life with Cancer team in October 2022 as a Senior Program Manager. In her role, Emily leads outreach strategy and implementation including program marketing and communications, volunteers, special events and community partnerships. Emily is excited to increase accessibility and awareness of Life with Cancer to improve the lives of more individuals impacted by cancer in the community.
Emily has more than ten years of professional experience leading brand communications for a global hospitality company, where she also launched the headquarters’ community service team member resource group (TMRG) and served as a co-chair. In college, Emily served as a co-chair of a local 5K/1-mile race that benefited Life with Cancer, worked as a campaign assistant for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society on their seasonal Light the Night campaign, and served as the director of philanthropy for her sorority. Outside of work, Emily enjoys staying active by taking yoga and dance classes, checking destinations off her travel bucket list and spending time with family.
