Rachel is a Life with Cancer Oncology Clinical Therapist at the Inova Schar Cancer Institute. She received her bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience from the College of Wooster and her master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Maryland. Rachel brings with her a strong academic mindset and a personal connection to the emotional and psychological toll chronic illness places on patients and loved ones. Throughout her career, she has worked with patients diagnosed with a variety of chronic illnesses, including cancer, sickle cell, and serious mental illness. Rachel is excited to be a part of the Life With Cancer team.
