Alyssa is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Board-Certified Art Therapist who joined the Inova Life with Cancer team in 2023. She received her master’s degree in art therapy and counseling from The George Washington University. Alyssa has experience providing care to children, adolescents, and adults within medical facilities, community centers, and the private practice setting. Alyssa is a trauma informed therapist who believes in the power of the arts as a tool for healing. Alyssa is honored to be a part of the Life with Cancer team and to support individuals and their families impacted by a cancer diagnosis.
