At the heart of Life with Cancer is community—people helping other people. A nonprofit founded by a husband who lost his wife to cancer, we are based on the concept of coming together to support patients with cancer and their loved ones, and we invite you to get involved.

Host or Attend a Fundraising Event or Gift-In-Kind Drive
- Host a bake sale, throw a party, do a walk-a-thon—there are plenty of creative ways to raise money and support cancer patients and their loved ones. Inova Health Foundation's peer-to-peer fundraising platform gives you the ability to fundraise in support of Life with Cancer. Create your campaign, select Life with Cancer as beneficiary of your fundraiser, and invite your friends, family and co-workers to make a gift.

Volunteer
- Be a mentor (through the Survivors Offering Support program for breast cancer and gynecologic cancers), represent LWC at community events, teach a class or topical speaker, and more. Learn more about volunteering with Life with Cancer.

- Learn how Life with Cancer can help, and refer your patients. Volunteer to speak at a LWC program or invite us to speak at yours.
