Carolyn comes to Inova Life with Cancer (LWC) after graduating with her master’s in social work from George Mason University in 2022. Her clinical practicum was with LWC working at Inova Schar Cancer – Fair Oaks Hospital with populations in radiation and medical oncology and supporting LWC’s support groups and programs. She now continues these roles as a full-time Behavioral Health Therapist, Oncology in 2023, as well as provides counseling to individual adult patients and caregivers. Carolyn is especially interested in healthcare environments that actively promote patients’ mental wellness and in the connection between mind and body to promote good health. She enjoys drawing, writing, gardening, and her family.
