Eric Jones-Hang serves as a Behavioral Health Therapist Resident in Counseling with Peterson Life with Cancer at Inova Schar Cancer’s locations Inova Loudoun Hospital and Inova Fair Oaks Hospital. He earned his Master’s in Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from George Mason University and is currently working toward licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
Prior to joining Inova, Eric provided mental health support to individuals navigating depression, anxiety, PTSD, and other challenges. His therapeutic approach is rooted in person-centered care, emphasizing cultural humility and unconditional support for patients of all backgrounds. Eric is passionate about fostering an inclusive environment where diversity is respected and celebrated, ensuring that every client feels seen and valued. He believes that every individual’s story is unique and worthy of being heard, and he strives to create a safe, affirming space for clients to explore their emotions and build resilience.
Outside of work, Eric enjoys watching movies, playing video games, and spending quality time with his family and dog.
