Jessica joined Life with Cancer in January 2021 as an Oncology Nurse Navigator. Jessica earned her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing at York College of Pennsylvania in 2006 and subsequently worked her entire career with the pediatric oncology population as a certified pediatric oncology nurse. She started at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh and then worked in multiple hospitals across the country as a travel nurse on inpatient pediatric oncology units, giving her a unique and broad perspective of cancer care across the nation.
Prior to joining Life with Cancer, Jessica worked at Children’s National Hospital in the outpatient clinic, giving her a fresh set of eyes on the challenges patients and families face when at home and also in navigating the health care system. Jessica has seen up close the effects cancer has on a person and their family members and is passionate about finding ways to ease the stress they experience. In her free time, Jessica loves to spend quality time with friends and family. She also enjoys traveling, reading, and anything water related.
